BOOKINGS

Contracts and agreements will become valid consequent to Jubatus Safaris confirmation of the booking by fax, e-mail, letter or telephone. At the time of confirmation we recommend that you secure a non-refundable deposit of at least 10% per person, the full balance should be paid at least 45 days prior to departure. Unless by prior agreement Jubatus Safaris is not indebted to conduct the tour if full payment is not received.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be made in writing to Jubatus Safaris. Please make sure you receive acknowledgement of you cancellation.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES

(1) 45 days prior to arrival...............deposit forfeit.
(2) 30 days prior to arrival..............30% of all amounts paid.
(3) 15 days prior to arrival...............50% of all amounts paid.
(4) 5 days prior to arrival..................100% of all amounts paid.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

(a) We will not take responsibility for any changes in airlines schedules, air fares, cancellations, loss or damage of luggage. All claims arising from before, during or after air travel should be made to the airline involved.

(b) Please note that baggage allowance for internal flights is 20 Kgs per person. It is very important that you let us know in advance if you are carrying excess luggage so that we advice on the extra cost.

(c) Hotels/Lodges/Camps where specified in itineraries are an indication of the class. Some times its not possible get the particular hotel/lodge/camp. In such a case we will advice on alternate choice of the category.

(d) All safari costs are given on the prevailing cost at the time of quotation, therefore any price change beyond our control will be passed on to the traveler.

(e) Jubatus Safaris and our agents act only as agents of the traveler in all matters relating to the hotel accommodation, transport, game viewing, by any means within Kenya.

(f) Jubatus Safaris reserves the right to employ sub-contractors to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be supplied and in the event of the exercise of such right the terms relating to the company's liability shall apply.

(g) Though we take every precaution to safeguard your luggage while travelling in our vehicles, we cannot guarantee you that nothing could happen which might resort to loss or damage to it. We would therefore advice that you take separate baggage insurance because if the worst happens, we cannot be held responsible.

(h) While on safari guests are advised to take extra care around wild animals. Even though attacks by animals are rare they cannot be ruled out. We or our agents will not be held responsible if such attacks occur.

(I) Jubatus Safaris will provide the services of a professional safari/driver guide accredited to KPSGA (Kenya Professional Safari Guide Association) but we reserve the right to substitute with another suitable guide in case ours is unavailable due to illness etc.
